Retirement notification
August 7th, 2020
To my dear patients and families,
After much reflection and with sadness in my heart, I have made the decision to retire at the end of this year after 36 years of caring for my patients.
I want to thank all of you who have extended to me the privilege of being a part of your family for so many years. As most of you know, Sharon has been my dedicated nurse for over 30 years and we both feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to care for such wonderful families.
Please be assured that my staff and I will do everything we can to make the transition smooth and stress free. We will continue to see patients as usual including sick visits, checkups and immunizations until December 4th, 2020 when we will officially close our doors.
Since I will be closing the office, I recommend that you begin looking for a new pediatrician as soon as possible. Families with appointments after December 4th should reschedule those appointments with their new office. Please click here if you need a Request for Records form. Upon receipt we will forward your records as quickly as possible to the office of your choice in the order that they are received. If you need the records by a particular date, please let us know. Your medical records will be handled confidentially. We recommend checking with your insurance plan for a list of local pediatricians that will be in-network for you. We will be happy to assist you in this regard as well.
Thank you for making the past years so meaningful to me, Sharon, Susan and Wendy. We wish your children good health, happiness and success in the future.
I appreciate your loyalty throughout the years and I will take the memories of all that I have experienced with me into my retirement. Entrusting me with your children’s health and well-being has made the reasons I chose to pursue pediatrics so meaningful and worthwhile.
I will never forget you. Thank you for being part of my life.
Sincerely,
Brian Kagan, MD
